What Is A Forehead Lift?

Forehead (or Brow) lift is a procedure performed to provide a lasting improvement in the appearance of the forehead and eyebrow region by elevating the eyebrow, improving eyebrow contour and reducing or eliminating wrinkles across the forehead and between the eyebrows, which are typically responsible for a tired or angry appearance.  Utilizing a minimally invasive endoscopic technique involving small incisions placed behind the  hairline, a forehead lift is a relatively brief outpatient procedure performed under either IV sedation or general anesthesia in a State Licensed, Nationally Accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center (see ‘about Keystone Surgery Center’) and typically requires an approximately one week recovery time.  It is commonly performed in conjunction with other facial cosmetic procedures such as Blepharoplasty (ie. eyelid tuck).
